We are now the proud owners of a three-year-old! We celebrated James' 3rd birthday a day early (since Daddy was leaving for his big 50-miler, and Mommy and the boys were headed to Portland). The local cousins joined us for my attempt at a race car cake and ice cream. The birthday boy got, Chutes & Ladders, a set of plastic wild animals, new tennis shoes, the movie 101 Dalmations, his own camping chair, some race cars & tonka trucks, a new night light, his very own tools, some money for the bank, and lots of well wishes from friends and family. (Sounds like way more than any little boy needs). Happy Birthday James!

Love all the new pictures. The scenery from the 50-miler is breathtaking. Why do boys get to have all the fun?!! And last but not least, thanks for letting us share in the birthday fun. (For those of you who weren't there, the cake was really cool--what a mommy!)
