I thought I'd just write about some of the funny/noteworthy things James has done lately.
- After teaching him to say his full name I asked if he knew what Dad's name was...answer: Daddy Jefferson Kent. What about Mom's?...answer: Mommy Jefferson Kent. And brother's?...answer: (you guessed it) Andrew Jefferson Kent. We've since clarified the name thing, but now I often here him calling for me, "Becky Ann! Becky Ann where are you?"
- We also worked on teaching him our address. He got the Meridian, Idaho part down great except he always pronounced it Myredian. I didn't think much of it till he happened to ask me where I lived. When I said Meridian, Idaho he exclaimed, "No! Not your-redian, my-redian!"
- He informed me the other day he would like to be a fire engine when he grows up. Luckily when he realizes that won't work out, he can fall back on his other two choices...a truck driver, or a farmer. Or maybe he'll settle to be a firefighter instead.
- His best friends are his cousins and Violet.
- He loves to find every blanket in the house and make a "bed" on the couch. He role plays our bed time routine and then pretends to fall asleep. He'll do this over and over. My favorite is when he puts me to bed. He tells me some stories, sings me a song, and tucks me in. It's harsh that he only lets like 5 nano seconds pass before I "wake up."
- Thanks to Grandpa Teddy he can recite "Baa Baa Black Sheep", "Humpty Dumpty", "Little Miss Muffet", and several other nursery rhymes.
- He loves to sing. He sings sontaneously throughout the day. Songs he's learned, or songs he's made up. (Those are my favorite). This evening he sang "I Hope they call me on a Mission" . It was one of those, "I guess it's all worth it moments".
- His favorite toy is probably his cars and trucks.
Well, that may be way more than you want to know, but only scratches
the surface of a day in the life of James.

Oh becky Anne I Love it!!! How fun to be a mom. He is a so cute. You are a wonderful mommy too!!
WOW! How fast they grow up. I guess James can get one right, if he calls for "Papa Jefferson Kent." Thanks for the video of Andrew toddling, I love it.
Thanks for a little piece of James today. We sure do love him!
James is the cutest little guy! Isn't it funny how they call you by your first name? Siena does that to me too. Jared taught her to say "Michelle Olson," and now she yells loudly thru the house, "Michelle OLSON!!!" I'm like, "Siena, call me Mommy!" KIds are the best eh?
